Recognizing this challenge, I embarked on an innovative project to create a serverless application that turns email clutter into an organized appointments/alerts.
This application leverages the power of AWS’s serverless technologies and OpenAI’s GPT-4 to extract appointment details from emails and integrate them seamlessly into daily schedules.
The Genesis of the Idea
It all started with a simple observation: many important appointments and due dates come through regular emails, not as calendar invites. This meant they often got lost in the shuffle.
